Travel to Rome, May 26th

Today was quite a non-exciting day. We got up early and packed and checked out of the hotel in Paris. Both of us fell asleep for a while on the taxi to the airport! Once we got there we realized that we had gotten our airlines mixed up and that we weren’t flying air France which we thought we were! Don’t worry we figured it out, we flew this Italian airline that is partners with Air France, so we were in the right place after all! Anyhow we got onto our flight slept and read some and then we landed in Rome! Unfortunately it wasn’t until an hour after we landed that we got our bags and were on our way. It seemed that they didn’t have any extra stairways for us to deplane… so we sat on the plane for a while and then it toke out bags a good half an hour to come out so we were very happy campers when all was said and done! We found our driver and we were on our way! We got the hotel and were a bit jet lagged and sat around for a bit before deciding to go out to eat. We found this little café just a couple of blocks from the hotel which was so cute so we ate there! Now we are getting ready for bed since we have a 7:30am driver picking us up tomorrow morning to tour us around Rome! The Vatican is first on our list tomorrow! Goodnight!
