Barcelona, our last day here, May 22nd

So since last night we went to the grocery store and stocked up on food, we ate breakfast in the room. Today was a pretty laid back day since we only had one thing to see the whole day which was the parc de la ciutadella. We took the long way to the park and walked along the port. They have quite a nice walking path alongside the port. Once we got to the park we walked around so see what there was to see. This park wasn’t as nice as the park in Madrid was but we still enjoyed walking around. They had a fountain with a small façade off the center of the park which was nice, but again it was under construction. The fountain however was turned on which was a nice change to the city that was clearly conserving water. Anyhow we walked around to find the perfect bench to sit and read our books at. Yes, we are geeks, haha. Anyhow we sat and people watched and read some of our books for a while until it started to get cold. We decided to head out a different way that where we came from a got a little lost along the way which was entirely my fault since I was the guide for today, oops. It started to rain on the way back to we ran into a pastry shop and got two croissants, and then we were on our way again. We made it back to the hotel halfway dry and stopped in the grocery store to get some dinner. Tomorrow we are on our way to Paris! We leave on an air France flight at 930am so we have to get up super early :(
